I’m wearing a [...] Oticon Delta 8000 in my left ear and the [...] Acoustitone in the right ear. There is very little difference in performance. Your instrument is very good. I set the volume manually. The battery lasts longer.
One thing that I will guarantee: The Oticon is not 25 times better than the Acoustitone. Servicing an Oticon is about [...] . I can buy two Acoustitones for the price of servicing the Oticon.

My dad bought an $800+ hearing aid (which is what most of them cost)and never wore it. I bought this one for him to try instead because I couldn’t stand him constantly saying, “Huh?” Setup was less than five minutes, and now he hears everything clearly. He jokes that things are too clear… he’s now able to hear my mom and I nagging him.
I’m a physician, and I know how much people spend on their health care. They should get the best value for their health care dollar, and this product is just as effective (if not more) than traditional overly-priced hearing aids. I will be recommending the Acoustitone to my hearing-impaired patients.

For those who are looking for a quality hearing aid, at a very reasonable cost, this is the one you should purchase. Don’t let the low price fool you. I ordered this hearing aid to use with my ear mold although it came with tubing and mold tips you could use in place of a custom ear mold. Without a doubt this aid rivals other behind the ear aids that cost five to six hundred dollars. This Acoustitone Hearing Aid will be a blessing for those who have limited financial resources. I have worn hearing aids for over thirty years and trust me when I say you will love this hearing aid.

Like one of the other reviewers, I also bought this for my father who has hearing loss. The sound quality is good and this is much cheaper than traditional hearing aids I’ve seen offered. He felt like he didn’t necessarily need all the bells and whistles of a more expensive hearing aid, and this fit our budget well. He’s happy with it. Great value overall.

This product is built much better than many hearing aids costing three or four times more.
It works well for me and I’d recomend it to anyone having moderate hearing loss. I’m going to order an extra one, just for a backup.
I’m not sure how it is on batteries but I’ve been using the Acoustitone PRO for two weeks and haven’t had to change batteries yet.

digitals are way overrated, they’re only designed for communication, backround noises sound weird in digitals, bird chirps and women with high tone voice sound robot like and the cars sound like jets or airplanes, it affects your awareness alot like your unable to hear people walking up behind, knocking on your door, lower sound effects and music backround in movies or tv shows, unable to enjoy listening to music, digitals are over hyped, analogs gives more natural hearing.
I was half deaf one ear has a hearing and one was completly deaf and I have been like that all my life but now I got a cochlear implant and I hear just like any other human being now I’m a muscian

on my left ear my hearing is 90 dB, something about nerve weakness(?),,,sucks.. i know…the good thing is that my other ear is 10dB…and thats weird..i mean 10dB vs 90dB??!!! crazyyyy!
so i actually came to terms with it and i want to buy some aids…should i get a BTE? i really dont want a BTE to tell you the truth, will “inside aids” work with my problem?

why the need of digital hearing aids?
cuzz digital sound is limmited in frequencies and sounds flat,unlike annalogue natural sound,
my mother also feels like if i will ever use digital aids,
but no i don,t believe my ears are damage and if so, all i want is a future upcoming surgery wich could reveave the lost hearing back.
i cut,nt see why a surgery is not possible????/
There is NO best trade or model since everyone’s hearing loss is different and the age onset is different. And digital and analog hearing aids are DIFFERENT. I prefer the analog so I have Oitcon.

Programs for private use are already on the web – and for free – and even more sophisticated than the “audiologist ones. They´re just a mythical branch who want to make too much money with haring aids that aren´t even worth 50 $.

For the people who want to get hearing aids:
Just go to a hearing aid audiologist. You just will have problems with the hearing aid if you get it from eBay or other sites…
The first problem would be that the h.a. isn’t matched with your hearing loss and you won’t be able to program it, because you haven’t the right software and I think you don’t exactly know how much amplification you need on which frequences…
Unless you cna get the digital aid programmed for you dont buy from ebay. these aids need and must be programmed to your prescription
If do you live in U.S.A. Go to a Sears Store to the Hearing Aid Department, they have the best, for you . If not, I’ll recommend a Hearing aid of German Trade. Those are the best !!!. Good Look !!!.

I myself have a 65% hearing loss in my right ear and a 55% in my left. I depend on my hearing aids to get me through the day; I thank God for them. People dont’ realize how hard it is to be hard of hearing, to wake up in the morning not being able to hear clearly; to have to turn up the TV volume to MAX and still can’t hear. It’s a blessing that hearing aids were invented.

yea, same with me, I’m 21 yrs old and I have to wear them everyday but if I want to listen to my mp3 player, I have to take it off just to do that when I go to school. I usually have troubles with them sometimes so I just have my interputer to fix it for me, just love my intrputer.
