Now normally the Walkers Game Ear wouldn’t fall under the purview of hearing aids but I was so impressed by it that I had to post this up.
The Walker Digital Game Ear HD II +AFT (adjustable frequency tuning) is perfect for hunters. It increases hearing up to 8 times and has 50 dB of power.
The great part about it is it allows the user to change to specific frequencies to help you fine tune the unit to whatever conditions apply.
The one feature that really stands out is the ability of the Walkers Game Ear to attenuate the sound of a muzzle blast protecting the ear in the process.
It’s not hard to see how important of a feature this is. This acheived with a Sound Activated Compression circuit similar to noise reduction headphones.
The unit is especially light at only With AFT the user can adjust the Game Ear to focus specifically on frequencies that will allow the user to fine tune the unit to their individual hearing 1/4 of an ounce not to burden or distract you while hunting.
